Since it's inception, the Roundtable has been highly focused on
strengthening public education to ensure all students achieve necessary skills at every
level of schooling. The Roundtable advocates for improving the
quality of early learning, supporting standards and accountability in
the K-12 system, improving math and science achievement,
increasing capacity for baccalaureate production, and supporting state
research at our universities.

Fiscal Policy:
Fiscal stability, sustainability and competitiveness are the
bedrock of Washington’s ability to deliver essential
public services, foster economic growth and prepare for
unforeseen emergencies. The Roundtable advocates for
transparent, priorities-based budgeting, maintenance of
sufficient reserve accounts and fiscal policies that make
Washington an attractive and competitive place to live and do
business.
