Around the Table: Amazon, McKinstry, Microsoft, PSL, and Starbucks

  • Amazon launched a new Health AI agent, giving Prime members free 24/7 access to virtual care. The agent can provide personalized health insights and guidance as well as take meaningful action, including booking appointments and managing prescriptions.
  • McKinstry launched a new Building Futures initiative to encourage and prepare more women to explore the built environment, skilled trades, and applied STEM careers. The long-term community investment commits $1 million by 2030, focused on early exposure and career-connected learning through strategic nonprofit partnerships nationwide.
  • Microsoft launched Copilot Health, a separate, secure space within Copilot where medical intelligence makes sense of your information and delivers personalized health insights. This new AI service brings together health records, wearable data, and health history into one place and applies intelligence to generate insights.
  • Pioneer Square Labs hosted an evening where University of Washington students presented startup business plans to leading venture capitalists, marking the culmination of a 10-week entrepreneurship course.
  • Starbucks introduced a new program, giving baristas and shift supervisors more ways to share in the company’s success. This includes new incentive-based pay, expanded tipping options, and a move to weekly pay for all U.S. partners.
