Roundtable members are earning recognition and driving progress across Washington — from sustainability leadership and community giving to scientific innovation and executive excellence. Here’s just a sampling of recent news from around our table:
Nordstrom is celebrating its 16th annual partnership with Shoes That Fit, with a goal of raising $1.7 million and providing 50,000 kids with new shoes. Nordstrom will host 20 shoe delivery events across 17 markets, including Seattle. Customers can donate through October 3 at any Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store or online.
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory received Genesis Mission Awards in July to advance scientific discovery, next-generation energy systems, and advanced manufacturing. PNNL also launched a new Center for Robotics and Autonomy focused on integrating AI and autonomous science across the lab’s research mission.
The Puget Sound Business Journal honored 15 Washington business leaders at its 2nd Annual Most Admired CEOs program. Among the honorees were Roundtable members Beverly Anderson (BECU), Chuck Arnold (Seattle Seahawks), Brent Beardall (WaFd Bank), Mary Kipp (Puget Sound Energy), Margaret Meister (Symetra), and Geoff Wood (Windermere Real Estate). Congratulations to all!
